In stark contrast t its immaculate and luxurious sister-world of Protogo, Purasi Sha is barren and frozen. Almost its entire population lives in climate-controlled industrial complexes, in the employment of one of the system's countless megacorps. The world is equal parts research & development and manufactuering, and they work long hours to invent, develop, and produce anything and everything their corperate overlords ask for. Human life is cheap on Purasi Sha, and the management often finds itself working overtime to cover up labor abuses and industrial accidents.
The glut of abuses in recent years has finally started to draw the attention of Federation officials, and the Andriopolitan representatives in particular will often bring up the world when arguing for stronger Federation-wide labor laws in the legislature. This fact in particular has motivated the Megacorps to start reigning in the worst of the abuses, which they hope will be enough to smother any further reform efforts.
